Genesis Consulting Partners has been awarded a multiple year, single-award, task order providing Technical Oversight Support to the Biometrics & Person Centric Services Branch at the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) component.
This small business, offering consulting solutions in Digital Transformation, Business Agility and Advisory Services, is leveraging their prior experience supporting the development of a single authoritative source of trusted biographical and biometric information for USCIS with the award of a new 20-month $7M initiative under the Services for Enabling Agile Delivery (SEAD) blanket purchase agreement (BPA).
Genesis Consulting is supporting the agile transformation initiative within USCIS Office of Information Technology (OIT) Identity, Records, and National Security Delivery (IRNSD) Division with Agile Coaches, Solution Architects, and Technical DevOps coaches. Genesis is driving the planning and delivery of identity management, biometric, and content management solutions through agile development teams on three Agile Release Trains (ART), while coaching over 500 people in the division. Genesis continues to evolve the agile culture and improve business agility while delivering workable integrated software solutions. Genesis facilitates Division Level Enterprise Solution Architecture by defining new standards and rationalizing existing Microservice APIs to enable a DevSecOps approach with a continuous delivery pipeline and release on demand.
As part of this new task order, Genesis Consulting will be working with the IRNSD Division to continue to evolve the agile delivery teams and solution portfolio to include the following focus areas:
Business Agility – Assess agile maturity and develop growth plans that evolve agile practices to improve efficiencies, integration, and quality of solutions. Measure and coach teams in agile practices to improve productivity, quality, and predictability.
Continuous Delivery – Focus on improving the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) development processes to enhance the DevSecOps culture and accelerate value delivery.
Product Management – Working with Division Executives, Business Owners, and Product Managers/Owners to evolve the product vision to tangible work items. Build solution roadmaps with prioritized initiatives and capabilities for delivery teams to execute.
Solution Architecture – Plan and coordinate multiple solution platforms with focus on seamless integration and deployment of web application solutions including APIs, microservices, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) while leveraging state of the art tools and cloud-based platforms.
Lean Portfolio Management – Align IRNSD strategic objectives, investment priorities, and enterprise initiatives to drive executive decision making, enterprise architecture, product vision, and implementation roadmaps.
