Reston, Virginia – Genesis Consulting Partners has been awarded a contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to provide independent validation and verification (IV&V) services for the transition to the new Go.gov travel management system, led by IBM.
The contract, with a ceiling value of $2.4 million and a performance period of up to 16 months, calls for Genesis to continue our partnership with GSA and oversee IBM’s development and implementation activities for the government-wide travel platform. Genesis will perform IV&V activities to ensure system quality and reliability, while also supporting financial management and change management processes to facilitate agency transitions.
The selection underscores GSA’s commitment to modernizing government travel systems and achieving greater efficiency, compliance, and cost savings. Genesis’ involvement provides assurance that the Go.gov platform will deliver on its objectives, including advancing digital transformation, enabling cloud adoption, and aligning with government mandates.
Genesis Consulting Partners’ role in the GSA Go.gov Travel Contract reinforces the company’s strong position in helping government agencies modernize critical systems. By delivering IV&V services alongside financial and change management support, Genesis ensures the Go.gov travel platform will achieve its goals of reliability, efficiency, and cost savings.

“Genesis is proud to partner with GSA on this important modernization effort,” said Nick Coticchia, COO of Genesis Consulting Partners. “By applying our expertise with cloud travel and expense implementation, system validation, financial management, and change management, Genesis will help GSA achieve its mission to provide an efficient, secure, and cost-effective travel and expense solution for federal agencies.”
The significance of this contract was also highlighted in Washington Technology, which noted Genesis’ role in providing oversight of IBM’s implementation of the Go.gov travel platform and its importance in advancing GSA’s modernization agenda.
Prior to this contract award, Genesis Consulting Partners was also awarded a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract and a GSA OASIS+ contract, expanding access to our services across the federal marketplace. Together with the new IV&V award, these contracts demonstrate Genesis’ strong and growing presence with GSA and highlight the trust placed in our team to deliver mission-critical support for government agencies.
