Nick Samuels is the Accounting Manager at Genesis Consulting.  Nick has over 12 years of experience working in the field of accounting and finance for companies that specialize in Information Technology related work.  He brings to the team a unique approach to data management, business process optimization and client success that aligns well with Genesis Consulting’s commitment to value delivery.

 

With a decade spent working in the Northern Virginia’s technology corridor, Nick learned the principles and practices of Federal Government Contracting and the policies and procedures that work best to satisfy the customers in that field.  Getting his start in Accounts Receivables and Billing helped Nick develop the foundation of knowledge he would later apply to his work as a Financial Analyst and Project Accountant on major IT projects for the US Army and other government entities. 

 

Following his relocation to the Richmond area, Nick gained further government experience working as a Cost Accountant for the Virginia Employment Commission before joining Genesis Consulting.

Nick has a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University and is currently furthering his education with additional classes in Accounting at The University of Virginia.

In his spare time Nick enjoys playing guitar, singing, and audio production with some of his music being featured on network and cable TV.  He is also an avid traveler with hiking expeditions through Peru, surfing safaris in Costa Rica, and volcano climbing in Chile under his belt.
