Justin Abarca joined the Genesis team in 2020 as the SAP & Operational Helpdesk Lead at NASA.  He has over 13 years of SAP experience that includes ten years in military inventory management and three years of project management experience within government contracting.
 

Justin is recognized as a dynamic and high performing consultant with a strong background in SAP Business Intelligence, great problem-solving skills, and extensive competency in designing business value initiatives.
 

Before joining Genesis Consulting Partners, LLC., Justin enlisted into the United States Army in May 2008 attending Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Sill, OK. Upon completion of his training, he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 92Y, Unit Supply Specialist. During Justin's decade of military service, he held every junior enlisted position in logistical operations ranging from weapons armorer to supply sergeant in support of the Global War on Terrorism in Iraq. Justin attended the Noncommissioned Officer Academy in 2012 earning him a promotion as the S-4 Supply Noncommissioned Officer in the 3rd Transportation Brigade Expeditionary, Fort Belvoir, VA. As a Property Book NCO, Justin was responsible to account for and maintain $5M of allotted equipment ensuring battalions were mission ready for deployment.  His awards and decorations include Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (3rd Award), Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon.

Justin is currently working on his baccalaureate degree with a concentration in Business Analytics from Grand Canyon University. He is also working on his SAFe Agile Certification.

Justin lives in Virginia and enjoys spending time with his fiancée, family, and their dogs. He loves to play soccer and hiking. Justin is also an avid traveler investing his time in food and culture immersion.
